Who is Jeremy?

With more than 20 years in pastoral ministry, Jeremy serves as the pastor of Bethel Church in Staten Island, one of New York City’s five boroughs.

At the center of Jeremy’s life and ministry is a desire to faithfully shepherd God’s people and see the local church flourish. Over the years, the Lord has allowed him to walk alongside churches in seasons of renewal, helping to raise up leaders and participate in the work of revitalization. He is currently completing doctoral coursework in church revitalization at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Jeremy brings an energetic and curious spirit to life. He often jokes about having a touch of A.D.D., which shows up in a wide range of interests—from playing guitar, to hunting on the family farm, to the discipline and challenge of completing multiple Ironman races.

More than anything, Jeremy treasures his family. He and his wife, Kim, along with their daughters, have embraced God’s call to serve in different places throughout the Northeast. Along the way, they have come to believe deeply that home is not defined by a place, but by the people God has given them.

I am an old classmate of Tim Ghali’s from Liberty but I had been attending Biblical for a class or two. What church are you the Toms River Area? I’m in Montgomery Township, NJ.

Montgomery Township? That’s near a place I mountain bike once in a while 🙂

I just started working at First Baptist in Toms River a few months ago. Are you familiar with it?
